Beef Stew


Makes 4 Servings

1 lb stew beef, cut into 2 inch chunks or smaller
32 oz (one box) beef stock
12 oz can of mushrooms
15 oz can diced tomatoes
8 oz frozen green beans
16 oz frozen lima beans
1 onion roughly chopped
1 potato roughly chopped
3 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbs Soy sauce
2 tsp black pepper (1 tsp when serving guests)
2 tsp minced garlic
4 bay leaves


Step 1: Add Ingredients to Instant Pot
Dump all ingredients in Instant Pot and set to 40 minutes of pressure cooking.

Step 2: Release Pressure
Wait as long as you can for natural release, but 15 minutes is necessary before using the quick release method. Serve.



Variation:
Sub the potato or lima beans for corn
Sub the mushrooms for another lb of meat for a richer (and more caloric!) stew
