Makes 4 Servings
1 cup white rice
1 12.5 oz can chicken
2 1/4 cups water
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
Step 1: Brown Rice
In a skillet, melt butter on medium heat and add rice, toasting until rice starts to turn golden color.
Step 2: Add Spices and Water, Boil
Add spice mixture and water to rice, turn heat to high until mixture starts to boil.
Step 3: Add Chicken, Simmer
Add chicken to pot, turn heat to low and let simmer 15-20 minutes, covered.
